A Fully Managed Drill Cuttings Management Service

As a natural extension to our solids control services, Separo's SCS Division will manage drill cuttings from the point of production to delivery onshore for re-use, recycling or disposal.

Helping Industry Meet Waste Reduction and Minimisation Targets

Separo is a specialist in removing contaminants from industrial wastewater. We offer a range of solutions designed to remove NAPL such as oil (to allow disposal at source and typically < 5ppm) plus dissolved and suspended solids.

SepSORB® Filtration Systems

Our SepSORB® product range has been developed in the oil and gas fields of the North Sea and is a permanent solution on numerous production platforms. SepSORB® is also utilised to great effect when decontaminating liquid waste streams found in other industries such as steel manufacturing, refining, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, etc.

A Scaleable, Modular Solution

Separo's Industrial Waste Services (IWS) Division specialises in the supply of high-quality decanter-centrifuge based systems for the treatment of wet waste such as sludge and associated effluent.

Sludge Separation Projects of Any Size, Scope and Complexity

As a result of modular design, our treatment systems can accommodate projects of any scale, scope and complexity. With our roots firmly in the oil and gas industry, we are specialists in the supply of equipment designed for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.

Achieving an Average 90% Reduction in Offsite Disposal Requirements

To date, Separo has processed over 1/2 million m3 of industrial waste sludge and in the process reduced the volume requiring offsite disposal by an average of 90%.

Safety First

Separo's Solids Control Services (SCS) Division provides pit cleaning and mud recovery services using advanced, proven technology for drilling, production, abandonment and decommissioning operations. Our pit cleaning systems are ATEX compliant and designed to reduce waste while operating safely in Zone 1 potentially explosive atmospheres.

SepSORB®

Effectively and Safely Reducing Hydrocarbon Levels in Produced Water

Produced Water Treatment is now more important than ever due to increasing environmental legislation. The current OSPAR limit is 30 ppm making it vital to employ efficient and reliable methods to meet waste reduction and minimisation targets.

An Industry-Proven Produced Water Treatment

The SepSORB® range is an industry-proven solution developed by Separo's Wastewater Treatment Services (WTS) Division to help clients lower the hydrocarbon levels in their produced water. The system is capable of lowering discharge levels to below 30ppm in a single pass with results below 5ppm being achieved in the field.

Advanced Wastewater Treatment Solutions

The reality of modern life is that wastewater (or more accurately water that has been contaminated by human use) is everywhere. Even rainwater is polluted by the contaminants in the street as it becomes surface runoff. More commonly, what is referred to as wastewater, is produced by industrial, commercial or agricultural activities. This includes:

  • Manufacturing
  • Petrochemical (on and offshore)
  • Pharmaceuticals
  • Shipping
  • Mineral extraction
  • Construction
  • Municipal water treatment

Wastewater treatment is a process used to remove contaminants from water or sewage and convert it into an effluent that can be reused as part of water reclamation or returned to the water cycle with zero impact on the environment.

Separo's Wastewater Treatment Services (WTS) Division specialises in removing contaminants from wastewater. We offer a range of wastewater treatment solutions designed specifically to suit our clients' requirements.
